The City of Indian Rocks Beach reminds all property owners to please comply with the City’s VRR Regulations

If you currently rent, or are considering renting, your property for overnight or short-term stays to guests, visitors, or tourists, you are required to complete the following:

  1. Submit an Annual Vacation Rental Registration (VRR) Application

An application must be submitted upon initial registration and renewed annually.

  • Provide Required Supporting Documentation

In addition to the application, the following documentation must be submitted (a complete list is available on the City’s website):

  • Proof of Ownership
  • Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Lodging License
  • Florida Department of Revenue Certificate
  • Exterior Site Plan
  • Interior Floor Plan
  • Parking Plan
  • Fire Code Safety Inspection documentation
  • Business Tax Receipt
  • Complete Required Inspections

Your property must pass inspections conducted by:

  • City Code Enforcement
  • Pinellas Suncoast Fire Rescue
  • Pay Applicable Registration or Renewal Fees

Compliance with these requirements helps preserve the quality, safety, and character of our         community. By working together to ensure adherence to the City’s Vacation Rental Registration regulations, we can continue to make Indian Rocks Beach a great place to live, learn, work, and visit.

The City of Indian Rocks Beach appreciates your cooperation and commitment to protecting our community through code compliance.
