The purpose of this program is to manage and supervise the City’s Public Works, Solid Waste, and Sanitary Operations. The program is responsible for maintaining City streets and drainage systems in compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting requirements, maintain City parks and recreational facilities, maintain City buildings, supervise the provision of commercial and residential solid waste collection services and overseeing the City’s sanitary sewer collection system.

The Public Services Director also serves as the City’s Construction Manager in the planning, design and construction of new City Facilities.
