CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT 2022/2023 UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING PROJECT 7TH AVENUE & 1ST STREET, BATES AVENUE & EAST GULF BOULEVARD
The City of Indian Rocks Beach Capital Improvement 2022/2023 Utility Undergrounding Project is tentatively scheduled to commence on Monday, August 25, 2023.
This Project will involve the undergrounding of overhead utilities – electric, telecommunications and cable.
The first phase of the Project will be the installation of the underground conduit (approximately 1000 linear feet of 6 inch HDPE) work
The second phase of the Project will be the utilities being placed underground
The final phase of the Project will be the removal of the overhead utilities
The construction processes may include minor inconveniences such as noise from heavy equipment operation, on street parking, short delays in accessing driveways during drilling operations and possible detours.
Time frames for work at each site may vary, however the City and the contractor will strive to complete the work as expeditiously as possible.
