PRESS RELEASE
City to Begin Enforcement of Parking Decals

Beginning April 1, the grace period for the red 2021/2022 IRB resident parking decals will end and enforcement of the new black 2023/2024 IRB resident parking decals will begin.
The parking decal allows you to park in a “RESIDENT ONLY” spot. A maximum of (2) decals can be obtained per property. Parking permits are non-transferable and must be permanently affixed to the rear of the vehicle.
Stop by City Hall Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to obtain your permit. Please bring in the following:
♦ A copy of Pinellas County Property Appraiser’s record or a copy of the recorded deed identifying the applicant as a Property Owner for the address which the permit is sought.
♦ If the applicant is a lessee, a copy of the Primary Resident’s residential lease agreement reflecting at least one year, or a notarized letter from the landlord of the property.
♦ If the applicant is a corporate entity, the applicant must also bring in a copy of the current year’s annual report on file with Florida’s Secretary of State identifying the applicant as an authorized member, officer, or principal of the corporate entity that owns the property for which the decal is sought.
♦ Permits are tied to the license plate and vehicle description. To identify the vehicle to which the parking decal will be affixed to, an applicant must provide, valid driver’s license and a valid vehicle registration for each vehicle.
