The purpose of this program is to provide general planning services and administration of building permitting, inspections and code enforcement programs. This program provides for many highly technical processes and procedures mandated by Florida Law including: the processing of land use plan amendments: zoning amendments: variance and conditional use requests: intergovernmental coordination: development agreements: vacation of right-of-ways: establishment of new easements: site plan and plat review: preparation and maintenance of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and the associated land development regulations necessary to implement the adopted Comprehensive Plan.

This program provides direct technical support to the Local Planning Agency, the Planning and Zoning Board, the Board of Adjustments and Appeals and the City Commission
