Join us for a book signing and slide show by Wayne Ayers, author of Tampa Bay's Gulf Beaches: The Fabulous 1950s and 1960s, a new pictorial history of the beach strip from Pass-a-Grille to Clearwater Beach. Ayers' latest book covers the years following World War II, when Tampa Bay’s barrier island beaches grew from a sparsely populated area into a booming vacation destination. Enjoy an unbelievably delicious potluck luncheon, meet the author and return to a time that many of us remember fondly.
